The Toronto Raptors are poised to make yet another trade before the NBA trade deadline, not long after acquiring Serge Ibaka in a trade with the Orlando Magic, but it’s coming down to deciding which player they want to trade for.
According to RealGM, Toronto is trying to decide whether to give up a first round pick in a trade for P.J. Tucker of the Phoenix Suns or Wilson Chandler of the Denver Nuggets.
Tucker has been one of the more talked about names in recent weeks and will be a free agent in the offseason.
Chandler is likely to be dealt in Denver’s attempt to purge their roster to kickstart a hard rebuild mode. Chandler has a player option to become a free agent in 2018.
According to ESPN’s Marc Stein, Toronto is likely to include Jared Sullinger in any trade along with a 1st round pick.
