New York Knicks head coach Tom Thibodeau pulled no punches when airing out his grievances regarding the NBA officials “disrespect” of Knicks superstar guard Jalen Brunson following a loss to the Miami Heat that pushed the short-handed Knicks losing streak to three-games.
“He’s getting fouled,” Thibodeau repeatedly said of Brunson before heading back to the locker room.
While not much was said, the emotion said plenty.
“I mean, we have got to adjust to how they’re calling the game. Simple as that,” Brunson said, according to Alex Toledo of Five Reasons Sports.
The Knicks will have a tough road to close out the season and as they try to hold on to their current seeding in the Eastern Conference. On tap next are the Sacramento Kings, followed up by some tough Eastern Conference tilts against the Chicago Bulls, Milwaukee Bucks, Boston Celtics, and Brooklyn Nets.
