Dallas Cowboys running back Ezekiel Elliott met with NFL commissioner Roger Goodell this week regarding the incident in Las Vegas in which Elliott was involved in an altercation with a security guard at an EDC music festival back on May 19th.
Elliott is taking ownership, and responsibility, of the incident following the meeting, saying “I made a poor decision.”
Elliott knocked down the 19-year old security guard during the altercation, however no charges were filed.
Elliott added that he has reached out the security guard to issue an apology.
It is unclear at this time if Elliott will be punished by the league for the incident, and they very well could decide to hand down a suspension, although Elliott was never charged with a crime in the case.
