Dallas Cowboys running back Ezekiel Elliott may be on track to play in Week 9 despite dealing with a hamstring injury that has cast a cloud of uncertainly over his status.
According to NFL Network insider Ian Rapoport, Elliott “looked good at Saturday’s workout, but will be tested today pre-game”, and apparently he “has a good chance to play” as the Cowboys take on the unbeaten Pittsburgh Steelers.
It’s unlikely that even if Elliott does play, that he will be getting the workload he is usually accustomed to as the team monitors his injury.
