The San Francisco 49ers didn’t exactly bring their A Game when they took on the Houston Texans during preseason action, and quarterback Trey Lance is discussing the offense’s brutal showing versus the Texans.
“It never feels good to lose… But we’ll learn from it, turn the page” Lance said (via 49ers Web Zone). “Not going to make a bigger deal out of it than we need to, for sure. … Some ugly stuff out there, for sure… Watch the tape tomorrow, learn from it, get better.”
For his part, Lance went 7-of-11 for 49 yards during the three series of action he played, but the Texans completely shut down the 49ers offense throughout the game.
The Niners will look to get some things cleaned up as they prepare for their regular season opener against the Chicago Bears.
