Pump the brakes on the rumors that the Cleveland Browns will be looking to deal three-time Pro Bowl wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr., as it appears that the star wide receiver isn’t on his way out of town just yet.
According to Cleveland.com’s Mary Kay Cabot, the Browns front office has indicated that they are eager to see Beckham back on the team. Beckham is recovering from a midseason ACL tear, and reportedly progressing well in his rehab.
This report is far different from initial reports that indicated that Beckham has planed his final game as a part of the Browns. With general manager Andrew Berry essentially shutting down those reports, it appears that Beckham will be back in a Browns uniform when he is healthy and able to.
Beckham isn’t the only Browns wide receiver that the team would like to see back, as Berry also confirmed that the organization is hoping to re-sign wideout Rashard Higgins, who stepped up when Beckham went down with injury during the 2020 season.
