The Houston Rockets are looking to make some moves as the NBA trade deadline approaches and are reportedly shopping center Clint Capela with a number of teams, including a host of teams in the Eastern Conference, according to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski.
Per the report, Houston is engaged in three-way trade possibilities that might allow for them to use Capela to gather the draft assets needed to acquire an impact wing player for their push in the second half of the season, and into the playoffs.
The Rockets are currently 5th in the Western Conference, posting a 31-18 record on the season.
Capela, 25, is averaging 13.9 points and 13.8 rebounds a game for the Rockets this season, and his contract is also appealing to interested teams. The Atlanta Hawks have been mentioned as a team that is interested in Capela.
