The Los Angeles Rams continue to make cryptic statements regarding the long-term future of quarterback Jared Goff with general manager Les Snead being the latest.
“Jared Goff is a Ram at this moment,” Snead said during a media session with reporters, according to NFL Network’s Omar Ruiz.
Snead went on to reiterate that Goff is a Ram “right now, on January 26th” before going on to praise Goff’s success since joining the franchise.
“He’s No. 2 in wins since he and [Rams head coach Sean McVay] have partnered together,” Snead said, according to Greg Beacham from the Associated Press. “That’s been a heckuva partnership. What I do think is the real thing that should come out of this is, hey, we want to be a better offense. And that includes Jared.”
While the headlines may be dominated by the potential moves of quarterbacks named Deshaun Watson and Matthew Stafford, Goff is a name to watch this offseason.
