Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen is excited that the team was able to land some help in the backfield at the NFL Trade Deadline, as they brought in the speedy Nyheim Hines from the Indianapolis Colts.
Allen talked about Hines, and how his speed stood out to him.
“One play, me and Stef looked at each other like, ‘Holy crap, this guy is fast’” Allen said, according to Pro Football Talk. “He’s smart, he’s already learning some of the plays and our system is not easy to learn. There’s still a lot of work there, but as far as what he can give this offense, it’s fun to have a piece like that.
Hines is not only a fast runner, but a skilled pass-catcher as well, adding a duel-threat element to the already dangerous Bills offensive arsenal.
Hines has been participating in team practices ahead of the Bills tilt against the New York Jets in Week 9 action.
