Buffalo Bills pass rusher Von Miller is dealing with lateral meniscus damage and will be waiting for the swelling to subside before he makes a decision on what his next steps will be, but has his return plans tentatively place.
Miller will indeed miss Thursday’s game between the Bills and the New England Patriots but said that he will attempt to play in the game following that.
“I do feel like I can play through that,” Miller said, according to the Buffalo News’ Katherine Fitzgerald (Twitter links). “So, I’m just gonna wait a little bit, wait a little bit, let the swelling go down for about seven to 10 days. And hopefully, right before the Jets game, I will be back. I think every other week after this, I should be able to give it a shot.”
Miller said the meniscus damage is “going to have to be addressed” (video link) and there will be a lot of monitoring to take place before anything definitive takes place.
