The Carolina Panthers continued their organizational house keeping, firing general manager Scott Fitterer on Monday morning, according to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport.
Fitterer’s tenure lasted three disappointing seasons, posting a 14-37 record during that time span and a brutal 2023 season that the organization hope would show some glimmer of promise for the future.
Fitterer will also be under the microscope for many years to come for their decision to draft quarterback Bryce Young over likely Rookie of the Year quarterback CJ Stroud, who ended up with the Houston Texans and led them to the playoffs.
