Injured Pittsburgh Steelers’ quarterback Ben Roethlisberger may have needed time over the past few years to contemplate whether or not he wanted to continue his career another year, but as far as 2020 is concerned, there will be no doubts.
Roethlisberger is 100% coming back, and vowing to come back better than ever.
Roethlisberger put any doubts, if there were any, to rest by tweeting out his plans to play in 2020 after missing the majority of the 2019 due to injury. Although he hasn’t been cleared to throw yet, he is tracking to be ready in time for the 2020 season. Roethlisberger as placed on injured reserve after suffering an injury back in Week 2.

According to ESPN’s Chris Mortensen, Roethlisberger had elbow surgery after his injury to reattach three tendons.
Roethlisberger has been with the team throughout his rehab, and also on the sideline during games, helping undrafted rookie signal caller Devlin “Duck” Hodges prepare.
“Obviously, Ben, playing as long as he has, I’m sure he’s been in some of these must-win games,” Hodges said, according to ESPN’s Brooke Pryor. “I believe they were in a must-win game last year. Mason, obviously being around me. Both those guys, they help me out with little things here and there. It’s good to have those guys around.”
