The New York Giants and defensive coordinator Patrick Graham have agreed to a contract extension that will keep Graham at his post, according to The Athletic’s Dan Duggan.
Graham came over after a one-year stint as the defensive coordinator for the Miami Dolphins and had a big impact on the Giants’ defense this season, in which Big Blue saw a dramatic drop in points allowed to rank 9th in the league. The Giants allowed the third most points in the 2019 season.
Graham was also in consideration for head coaching gigs, including interest from the New York Jets who requested to interview Graham, according to NFL Network insider Tom Pelissero.
