The New York Knicks are targeting Boston Celtics forward Gordon Hayward, who is expected to decline his $34.2 million player option, making him an unrestricted free agent.
According to The New York Times’ Marc Stein, the Knicks have been “aggressive” in their pursuit of Hayward, which could indicate a deal could be in place with New York.

Hayward averaged 17.5 points, 6.7 rebounds and 4.1 assists for the Celtics last season.
