The Chicago Bears are hoping for a much better season in 2023 after making a flurry of moves during the offseason, namely the addition of former Carolina Panthers wide receiver DJ Moore to bolster their receiving corps.
The Bears’ work on the offensive side of the ball should lead to a step forward this season for young quarterback Justin Fields.
Moore, for his part, is already making quite the impression on his new team, such as rookie Tyler Scott.
“DJ Moore, obviously, being a teammate, he, man, he’s everything advertised and more” Scott said, according to NBC Sports. “He plays with such calmness to him, just the control to him. And you know, football players know, you know, kind of what that looks like. And he just kind of plays just under control. But it’s not necessarily like he’s playing slow or behind. He just kind of plays like he knows what he’s doing. You can tell he’s experienced in what he does.”
Moore is coming off a season in which he hauled in 63 receptions for 888 yards and 7 scores.
