Despite quarterback Nick Foles returning to practice, the Chicago Bears will be sticking with Mitchell Trubisky as their starter under center for Sunday’s game against the Detroit Lions.
Bears head coach Matt Nagy announced the decision on Wednesday, giving Trubisky another shot at the starting job after he was benched back in Week 3.
Foles made his return from practice after being inactive due to the hip injury that knocked him out of last week’s game against the Green Bay Packers.
Trubisky has played well against the Lions, and has not lost to Detroit since 2017.
