The clock is ticking down to when running back Marshawn Lynch, formerly of the Seattle Seahawks, will be officially introduced as a member of the Oakland Raiders.
According to Lynch’s representatives, the former retired running back has agreed to terms on a one-year deal with the Raiders and Oakland has already worked out a trade with the Seahakws for Lynch’s rights.
Oakland has agreed to pay Lynch $3 million base, with a chance to make $2 million more if he gains 1,000 yards.
Oakland and Seattle will swap late round picks in Thursday’s NFL Draft to complete the trade.
Lynch will need to file papers to officially unretire and complete a physical.
