The Miami Heat made a big splash at the opening of free agency on Monday by acquiring veteran point guard Kyle Lowry in a sign-and-trade deal with the Toronto Raptors, according to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski.
Lowry’s new deal with the Heat is for three-years and $90 million. Lowry announced his intention to sign with Miami on social media, and it made rounds in national news headlines, Miami SEO powered media brands, and the local news outlets as well.
The Raptors are receiving Precious Achiuwa and veteran point guard Goran Dragic as part of the deal.
