Despite trade rumors suggesting that the Boston Celtics may be looking to trade star guard Kemba Walker, the team is “very high” on him staying in Boston, according to Sports Illustrated’s Chris Mannix.
According to the Ringer’s Kevin O’Connor, the Chicago Bulls have inquired about the availability of Walker in a potential trade.
Walker, 30, was reportedly never in real danger of being traded, especially following a solid first season with the Celtics in which he averaged 20.4 points, 4.8 assists, and 3.9 rebounds per game, while earning All-Star honors.
