Los Angeles Rams veteran wide receiver Allen Robinson will miss the rest of the season as he will undergo surgery to repair a foot injury that he suffered on Friday, according to NFL Network insider Ian Rapoport.
Per the report, Robinson is dealing with a stress fracture, and the procedure will involve placing a screw in his foot and it marks yet another blow to the Rams wide receiver corps that is also dealing with Cooper Kupp’s ankle sprain that landed him on IR earlier this month, and lead to surgery.
Robinson signed a three-year deal to join the Rams back in March, and while the move was initially celebrated given what Robinson was able to do with lackluster quarterback play during his time with the Chicago Bears, the season has been disappointing as Robinson has struggled to break out.
