Boston Celtics forward Jayson Tatum received some of the highest praise one could when Hall of Famer and Celtics legend Bill Russell who commended Tatum on his performance over the last four games.
“All I’m gonna say is I see you @jaytatum0 keep up the hard work! It was a treat watching you put up 37 against the Lakers the other night @celtics @NBA all this in the last 4 games” Russell tweeted on Tuesday morning.
Tatum replied: “Appreciate you living legend!”
Tatum has been on a tear of late, particularly during the 4 game span Russell referred to, scoring 30 points, 33 points, 37 points, and 34 points while pulling down 6-11 rebounds along the way per game.
Tatum is pouring in 25.7 points, 8.4 rebounds and 3.5 assists for Boston this season.
