The Washington Football team has inked star defensive lineman Jonathan Allen to a four-year, $72 million contract extension which includes a $30 million signing bonus, according to an official announcement from Team IFA.
Allen’s average of $18 million per year will rank fourth among defensive tackles in the NFL, per Spotrac. Additionally, his $30 million guaranteed signing bonus ranks sixth among all NFL players at his position.
Allen has only missed one game since he was drafted in the first round of the 2017 NFL Draft.
Allen collected 63 tackles and 2 sacks last season for Washington.
