Los Angeles Lakers superstar big man Anthony Davis is hoping that he can play for tonight’s Game 6 matchup against the Phoenix Suns, as the Lakers are on the brink of being eliminated from the playoffs in the first round.
Davis’ status for the game remains up in the air as he continues to battle a groin injury that kept him out of Game 5’s blowout loss that gave the Suns a commanding 3-2 series lead.
“Guys can’t shy away from the moment. We got to be able to knock down open shots. We have not been shooting the ball well in this series.”
“Just got to play confident. We got to play with a sense of desperation, toughness, heart. That’s it,” Davis said of the pivotal matchup.
