The Kansas City Chiefs have officially released veteran wide receiver Josh Gordon as the team made cuts to bring their team down to the 53-man roster cap on August 30th, according to NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero.
During his tenure with the Chiefs, Gordon was said to have become a positive influence both for the organization and for the community at Kansas City since joining the team for the 2021 NFL season.
Gordon hauled in just 5 receptions for 32 yards over 12 games last season.
